RUGMAN: SID PRINT

Rugman drops a bit of a re-hash of an old image on Graffiti Prints.
The red is the main edition with the lime, baby blue, pink and yellow all being smaller editions of 7
It is old but it is good to see Rugman back after disappearing (well, from my radar for a while), and it is Sid, every home should have one.
This print is available from Thursday 20th.

LONDON: HERRODS BIZZARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS






Herrods pop up Christmas Bizzare is ready to open for business Monday morning.(17th)
You can find it just behind Waterloo station on lower marsh, take a stroll down the famous Leake Street tunnel and turn left at the end.
Below is teaser photo to whet your appetite, there will be a wonderful array of art and clothing on offer. A good percentage of the artworks are one off originals or small editions, these will be sold off the wall so don't hang around. There will be new art arriving during the week so a return visit could also pay dividends.
artbleat will be popping down at regular intervals to snap some photos, so maybe we will see you down there.
Oh and by the way, I am guessing that cash is going to work a lot better than American Express.

KLONE: AVAILABLE WORKS

Klone has been an artist that I have enjoyed from as far back as I care to remember.
Recently he has emptied his studio of a backlog of paintings and sketches, including some of his hauntingly beautiful water colours, and made them available in an end of year sale to fund his travels for 2013. You will need to email the artist direct to get the PDF of available works.

LONDON: URBAN BARRIER

Ben Oakley Gallery and No Format have a cracking line up for their Urban Barrier show that opens on Friday 7th December. Among the 40 artists who's work will be on display are... (Deep Breath)....Guy Denning, Static, David Bray, Ray Richardson, Jimmy South RYCA, Otto Schade, Jef Aerosol, Carne Griffiths, Pam Glew, Agent Provocateur, Benjamin Murphy, Michael Newson and Carrie Reichardt.
There will be beer and music some random freebies and an Unlucky Dip Art Tombola.
The venue is in south London, directions on the flyer below.

LONDON: MONOKROME BOOK LAUNCH


 Thursday night has a fair bit going on in East London, starting off with the launch of Monokrome Two.
A graffiti book that covers such stars of the scene as RemiRough, Codak, Tilt, Kofie, Peeta, Shock1 and Inkfetish. In all Monokrome covers 33 artists and writers with their words as well as pictures.
The launch happens on Thursday 6th at 347-349, Old street, EC1V 9lP (under the railway bridge just before you get to Kingsland Road) in association with Joys of Childhood and End of the Line.
The first 100 people through the door will receive a free print and the book itself will be on sale at a reduced price of £20. (RRP £29.99)
There will be food and drink.

HERRODS BIZZARE NOW OPEN


Herrods festive bizzare 2012 has opened.
Curator, shopkeeper and artist Agent Provocateur has launched the temporary pop up style art shop with two runs of his own work. There will be more exciting pieces added in the days running up to Christmas from AP and other top secret artists, as yet unnamed.

NEVERWORK: AS FRAGILE AS

Neverwork has a new print available. Titled, As Fragile As... this is a follow on from his mixed media piece from earlier this year using butterflies crafted from Euro notes.
The print version is a hand finished, digital print on Somerset Velvet paper, it measures 40cm X 60cm and is in a signed and numbered edition of 50

As well as the print there are some lovely Warholesque tins in the originals section.

ANTHONY LISTER BLACK GUARD MASKS

The Outsiders who are currently hosting Anthony Lister in both their London and Newcastle galleries (scroll down for that info) will be dropping 12 originals by the man they describe as "Australia's best contemporary artist"
The Black Guard masks are mixed media and resin on wood, measure up at approx 27cm X 22cm and are signed on the back. All yours for £450. They will be dropping at 4pm Today (2nd Dec) HERE and are part of Lazarides 12 days of Christmas promotion, so there is another 10 days of art drops on the way.

LONDON: BLACK XMAS AT SIGNAL

Signal Gallery has a dark dark group show opening Thursday night.
Curated by Gaye Black, Black Xmas features Dale Grimshaw, My Dog Sighs, Carrie Reichardt and Gaye herself amongst others. Entertainment will be provided in the form of live music from Steampunk band, The men that will not be blamed for nothing, and drinks provided by Movida.

Looking forward to seeing what Copyright has to show us on Thursday night, as his latest body of work is to be displayed on the walls at Pure Evil Gallery.
The show Pop Lives, Pagan Hearts, is described as a new collection of both 2D and 3D works on wood, new editions and experimental pieces.
There is a rumour of a few free mini prints for the first 30 through the door, but that may just be twitter talk.
I'll let you know later.
