MISS BUGS CARRY YOUR SINS PRINT

Miss Bugs will release their Carry Your Sins print on Good Friday, that's 2nd April for all you non believers, at around 5pm.
The print will be in 2 formats, below is the rather nice Aluminium version which to give its correct description is a 2 colour silk screen /4 colour stencil, gold leaf and holy bible pages on Aluminium.
This is an edition of only 4 and measures up at 65cm X 85cm

INVADER AT LAZ

Laz has finally released the Invader prints that were originally planned for the Low Fidelity show last year. These come in 4 different colourways with an edition of 20 each.
Measuring up at 50cm X 70cm these silkscreen prints will set you back £225 each
The laz press release reads:

SPECTER, VARIOUS AND GOULD AT BROOKLYNITE

The wonderful Brooklynite Gallery has its opening night of Make It Fit featuring work from Specter, and Various & Gould.
Brooklynite say:
The concept of “work” can be interpreted in many different ways depending on whom you hit up. Brooklyn-based artist, SPECTER and German duo VARIOUS & GOULD have each located discarded materials, used skill and ingenuity and re-conceptualized things in pulsating ways you might never have imagined. All this done in effort to turn the concept of “work” on its ear in an exhibition appropriately titled, “Make It Fit”.
The show runs until April 17th and as you may or may not know you can join in tonights event no matter where you are Via the miracle of the Live TV button on the Brooklynite website HERE You can join in the chat with other like minded souls (and me) as well as the camera wielding Brooklynite folk.

According to Laz, Sage also found the time when in London to hand finish an additional 5 prints, these can be purchased direct from the shop at 8 Greek Street. London.

"We are releasing new prints today. We have 2 of the last works from the Lost in Glimmering Shadows series and one other classic that found its way in the mix for the new release, as well as two Originals. The remaining two pieces from Lost In Glimmering Shadows for the Summer release then we will introduce the new pieces for the Fall to coincide with the NYC show sometime this Fall, most likely at the end of September. More details to come on that. Please note: If you see something that is sold out and you are interested in it, check back about 30 minutes later as sometimes the carts get clogged up before they are reset and the remaining pieces become available"

MATT SMALL AND ZAC WALSH SHOW

This Thursday sees the opening of a new show at The Signal Gallery, entitled "This Is Us", a two man show featuring the work of Matt Small and Zac Walsh.
Private View on 11th March 2010 and then the show will open to the public from 12th March. The show will then run until the 3rd April. The gallery is open Tuesday - Saturday 12 - 6pm and by appointment

Miss Bugs have a new print of a classic image on the horizon, Carry Your Sins was one of the first Superhero images from the dynamic duo (see what I did there) of the urban art scene. There will be a paper and maybe a metal version of this print but as is usual (despite my begging email) Miss Bugs are not yet willing to divulge the edition size, print size or any other info but keep watching this space as details will follow.

APPETITE FOR SEDUCTION I-LIB

I-Lib has for sale now a wonderful print, hand finished on old paper.
The print is titled Appetite for Seduction and funnily enough i-Lib describes it much more poetically than I could:
"the print depicts a bird like animal not pinching himself, but biting himself to see if its true love he feels. i hand printed it myself in my old studio in hastings, its printed onto pages of an old sketch book i picked up from a place called Court House Street, its an old indoor market type place with a treasure trove of old and wonderful things, a very inspirational place for me to vist, the prints are then hand finished with pen and ink and a little gold"
